Living and contemporary, the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) includes, according to the UNESCO convention dedicated to it (2003), the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge and skills - as well as the instruments, objects, artifacts and cultural spaces associated with them - that communities, groups and, where appropriate, individuals recognize as part of their cultural heritage. This UNITA Winter School "Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in Pays de Béarn" will address the issues of inventorying and safeguarding ICH in Béarn at both theoretical and practical levels. The intangible cultural heritage imposing a shared expertise between practitioners, researchers and heritage institutions, this co-construction will also question the consequences of the health context of this last year by approaching the "prevented ICH" which will nevertheless be the living field of experimentation of this week of training.  Read more
