A unique campus network
The "Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour" (UPPA) is a network of 4 campuses, which benefits from exceptional assets, thanks to its geographical location near the Spanish border.
Pau: The campus in the city, at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains [see] Bayonne-Anglet: The campus on the Basque Coast, beside the Atlantic Ocean [see] Mont-de-Marsan: The Landes' campus, in the heart of the largest European forest [see] Tarbes: The Hautes-Pyrénées' campus, at the gates of the Pyrenees' National Park and the Pic du Midi Observatory. Since it was created in 1970, the UPPA is characterised by its multi-discipline nature, its multi-site structure, its human scale size and its strong involvement in the regional economic and social world.
It is made up and is developed with the support of the State and the territorial authorities and thanks to the commitment of thousands of men and women, who work for nearly 11 700 students, on the different campuses, every day.
