are all active partners that support the University's projects related to Heritage Development, Scientific Reseach or Technology Transfer.
As the University believes that the socio-economic development of a country and its capacities for innovation depend greatly on the existing links between research and the business world, the UPPA counts on technology transfer. This ambition, displayed since the beginning, has led to historic links with large industrial groups such as Total E&P France or Turboméca. Today, the University Valorisation Department is a real interface between companies and research teams, for everything to do with research contracts, know-how transfer, the creation of innovating companies and the setting up of R & D Units (Research & Development) and technological platforms.
