Multi-discipline teaching
A multi-discipline University, the UPPA prepares students for gaining 180 diplomas at Degree level (A-Levels plus 3 years), Master's Degree level (A-Levels plus 5 years) and Doctorate level (A-Levels plus 8 years), which can be achieved through initial education - fundamental and professional - as well as through further education (VAE: Validation of Professional Skills).
The range of courses is both wide and of quality. It covers the classic fields in Science and Technology, Arts, Languages, Social Sciences, Law, Economics and Management, but is also concerned with Vocational Training, Language Sciences Teaching, and Basque and Occitan Culture and Regional Languages.
